2. Data we collect

This site does not use any analytics service, advertising network, or third-party tracking scripts. Server access logs may retain the following technical data for up to 30 days:

• IP address (anonymised after 24 hours in standard server log rotation)
• Date and time of request
• URL requested and HTTP status code
• Browser user-agent string

This data is used solely for server security monitoring and is not shared with any third party.

3. Cookies

IvyCosy uses one first-party cookie:

• ivycosyhyq_cookie — a localStorage key that stores whether you have accepted or rejected the cookie notice. It contains no personal data, expires with your browser storage, and is never transmitted to a server.

No third-party cookies are set. No advertising or social media tracking is used on this site.

4. External links and embedded content

Articles link to external sites including Home Assistant documentation, Wikimedia Commons, Z-Wave Alliance, and product pages on Czech retailers. When you follow these links, the destination site's privacy policy applies. We do not embed social media widgets, YouTube players, or advertising iframes.

Images are loaded directly from upload.wikimedia.org. Wikimedia's privacy policy is available at foundation.wikimedia.org. No user data from this site is shared with Wikimedia.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or erasure of your data
• Object to processing
• Lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority (UOOU): uoou.cz

Given that the only data retained is anonymised server logs, in practice there is minimal personally identifiable information to access or erase. Email hello@ivycosyhyq.eu for any data requests.
